World Fair Trade Day
On May 10, 2008, 12,128 people in more than 150 locations in America set the record for the world’s largest fair trade coffee break. An estimated 50,000 people participated in over 200 events throughout North America during “Fair Tade Fortnight.” These World Fair Trde Day celebrations contributed to efforts in 70 countries. The Change worked with the team from the Fair Trade Resource Network on the campaign, writing and designing posters, postcards, and online elements. This was our second year working on World Fair Trade Day. At the time of this writing, we are working on initial designs for 2009 World Fair Trade Day. (We love this job!)
