TS Designs
Once a traditional screen-printer, creating apparel for Gap, Nike and other multinationals, TS Designs nearly went out of business when NAFTA hit. But rather than closing their doors, TS Designs’ founders Eric Henry and Tom Sineath rethought their business based on triple bottom line practices — they installed solar panels, they established a biodiesel co-op, they switched to American-made, 100% sweatshop free, organic cotton tee shirts, and they designed a proprietary alternative to toxic vinyl printing (called “Rehance”). TS Designs’s factory now also features gardens for staff to grow food, bee hives, and a biodiesel filling station for the public.
The Change collaborated with TS Designs to develop a cohesive brand identity and logo. And we continue to consult with Eric, Tom and crew on ways to integrate branding with their continuing leadership in sustainability.
