Southcone

A Peruvian-based furniture company that has pioneered the use of sustainably harvested rainforest woods, South Cone was the driving force behind the creation of the Sustainable Furniture Council. Their manufacturing facility in Lima is run like a large furniture arts studio with teams of artisans practicing age-old crafts such as reverse stained glass, intricate hand-painting, and ancestral joinery. The Change worked directly with founder, Gerry Cooklyn, on evolving the company’s logo, writing a new tag line, photographing their facilities, and creating showroom displays to tell the company’s sustainability story. Due to a managment change at South Cone, all our work was not implemented.
