Kentucky Fried Forests
While other fast-food companies are beginning to explore more sustainable packaging options, KFC continues to make its buckets and wraps from trees "harvested" from endangered forests in the Southeast, including The Green Swamp - a pristine wetland forest in Brunswick County, North Carolina.
The Change worked with the Dogwood Alliance - the only organization dedicated to protecting Southern forests - to develop a grassroots campaign against KFC's unsustainable packaging policies. We collaborated with Dogwood activists to create a logo, website, imagery, copy and campaign materials including downloadable table tents, bucket wraps, tray liners and coupons.
We look forward to hearing that The Colonel has changed his ways.
