A joint venture of Co-op America, Global Exchange, and Rainforest Action Network, the goal is to help motivate the auto industry to improve fuel efficiency and eliminate vehicle greenhouse gas emissions by developing plug-in hybrids (this technology exists — all that’s required is the auto manufacturer’s commitment). The Adopt-a-Dealer program was designed to make it easy for people to influence automakers via local dealerships.  The Change designed the program’s core resource, a XX? page booklet that leads volunteers through actions step-by-step.
